This 16" x 6" Aluminum Margay trailer wheel is made to hold strong under serious weight. With a 4,080-lb capacity, 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern, and steel inserts pressed into the lug nut wells, it stays tight on the hub even after miles of towing. The inserts prevent wear in the bolt holes and eliminate the need for constant retightening, so you can trust your setup to stay secure.
Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance against the Margay’s rustproof aluminum construction. The glossy black 8-spoke design is finished with an automotive-grade clear coat that protects against scratches and scuffs while keeping its deep shine over time. It’s the kind of wheel that stays looking fresh after every trip.
The Margay comes equipped with a metal valve stem that’s built to handle pressures over 100 psi with no trouble. That means it’s up for heavy-duty tires, including Load Range G rated setups, giving you confidence when towing at full capacity or over long hauls.
Fitment is simple thanks to its standard specs—0 offset, 4.9" pilot diameter, and compatibility with 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 wheel bolts. The wheel meets DOT and SAE J1204 standards, so it fits cleanly and performs right from day one without any surprises.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Great wheel , missing a star as 3 wheels arrived with minor blemishes and we agreed on an adjustment. Otherwise I would definitely recommend the wheels, Etrailer just needs to do a better job at packing. Watch staples in bottom of box.
